FAQ

What is Fetishscapes?

Fetishscapes is a collection of images created by award-winning blind photographer Ted Tahquechi to support and promote education of kink and fetish communities worldwide. The images in this collection feature a diverse selection of professional and amateur models with a variety of body types. Fetishscapes photographically explores kink and fetish modalities from mild to wild with a focus on consent, body positivity, exploration, radical self-exploration, and education. Throughout this project, Ted has collaborated with his partners Talk Sexy and Studio Friction to create this compelling and important body of work.

Where can I buy prints from this collection?

All prints in the collection are limited to a maximum of ten, and each are numbered and signed by the artist. Prints of these images will not be available for direct sale, rather they will only be available for charity auctions at upcoming fundraising events. All proceeds from this collection will go towards supporting not-for-profit organizations that are sex and kink positive.

I would like to help, are you looking for models? Or, I represent X kink and would like to participate in your project.

Due to the variety of kink and fetish modalities included in the project, we are always looking for participants who would like to support our cause. If you represent a niche kink or fetish you think should be included in the project, feel free to contact us to discuss the details. We are happy to share some of the images from your shoot for you use.

Why is education important?

Knowledge leads to understanding and acceptance. The Fetishscapes project was created to demystify the world of fetish and kink through the medium of fine art photography. Too often one can experience predetermined negativity towards a particular kink or fetish without the person fostering that negativity obtaining adequate understanding of the activity, or the needs and desires of the person involved in that practice. There is beauty in every human body, and this project strives to illustrate that every body size, kink, and fetish need to be treated with respect and dignity.

 Are these images real?

All images in the Fetishscapes collection are real and not staged. These photos feature professional and amateur models who are interested in, or active in, the fetish and kink communities. Each participant gave explicit consent before each scene.
